I Bleed But Do Not Die
[notes on menstruation – a work in progress]

The project began as an attempt to explore the silence, shame, and hidden beauty surrounding menstruation. A woman bleeds an average of 2,535 days in her lifetime, around seven years if healthy, and yet this deeply shared experience remains so often misunderstood or dismissed.

Over time, it became something more personal: a visual journal, a way to process years of misdiagnosis and disconnection, and to trace the rhythm of a body that bleeds, rests, and searches for balance in a world that demands constant pace and performance.

This is the early stage of a longer body of work. For now, I offer these visual notes as a space of recognition — intimate, unfinished, and deeply shared — and as a reminder that this experience, though deeply personal, is also deeply shared.
